WOULD THESE TOURS BE SUITABLE FOR BEGINNERS?
These tours are designed for paddle boarders with some experience. If you think you need to master the basics first, then we would recommend that you take our SUP Academy "Taster Session" first. The tours are approximately two hours long. As well as being extremely good fun, we will also help you improve on your paddle technique and answer any questions you have regarding SUP, weather and environment, equipment and anything else you want to know!

Where do we meet - we have a number of different meeting places depending on time of day and weather conditions. We will advise you at the time of booking where we want you to come.
What time do the tours start - Our tours generally start either early to mid morning depending on which one you decide on, especially during the summer months. This is due to the intensity of the midday sun, which is further intensified when you are on the water.
Sunrise SUP Tour 6.00 am - 6.30 am depending on how close to the summer equinox we are.
Chicken Bay and lighthouse Tour - 8.30 am - 9.00 am
How long is the tour - You can expect to be on the water for around two - two and a half hours. This can vary depending on your experience, fitness and personal requirements.
What equipment will I need to bring - You don't need to bring anything with you. We provide the following equipment and refreshments:
Paddle Board
Leash
Paddle
Buoyancy Aid
What should I wear - You will need to wear the correct clothing for the duration of your session. We recommend that you wear a swimsuit or bikini and/or a rash vest or gym t-shirt. Board shorts or gym shorts are advisable. We also recommend you wear a sun hat or baseball cap to keep the sun off your head, face and eyes. A wet suit may be required depending on the weather conditions and time of year.
How many people will be on the tour - There is a maximum of six people on any one tour. It’s perfect for single travellers and also for people that have come away with their partners or friends, who are happier to be more land based. Let's face it - we are all different. It’s what makes the World go round!
It’s also the perfect shared experience for couples and friends. What makes us different to similar organisations, is that we believe in the intimacy and quality of the adventure, rather than booking by numbers.
How much will the course cost - Our prices are listed below:
Two Hour Tour Price (maximum six people) - €65.00 Euros per person
Two hour tour Price (Group / family of four) - €220.00 Euros
