MALLORCA SUP KIDS - JOIN THE CLUB

We have had the great pleasure, of teaching hundreds of people to paddle board and many of those have been kids, that have come back year after year with their families!

Our concern was that the bigger all round board, where heavy for the kids to carry and too long for easy manoeuvrability in the water. In addition, even at the shortest length, the paddles were too high to enable an effective paddle stroke. This led to an element of frustration.

So in 2023 we invested in two much smaller boards, to enable us to teach much younger children. The MOAI Kids 8'2 (Little Explorer) was a huge success and meant that even our youngest of groms (5 years old) was able to master all of the basic moves!

In addition to this the Cressi 9'2 Travel Light filled the gap for the 8-11 year olds, due to its short length and light weight! This year we will continue to look at ways to develop and encourage young paddle boarders.

We offer paddle boarding taster sessions to kids from the age of five. They must be accompanied with an adult or part of a family group. It really is a fantastic bonding experience and will create memories that will last a life time. Check out our paddle board taster sessions to find out more!

We had a wonderful morning with Hanna and Miguel Angel. As complete beginners with two small children, we instantly felt in safe hands and the kids were happy to sit on Hanna’s board and watch whilst my husband and I tried not to look like loons.
Once the adults got the hang of it, a small board was brought out for my super keen six year old to try. Again, tuition was pitched perfectly and he nailed it. So many thank yous.
We received a complete bespoke session and all came away wanting to do more paddle boarding, particularly in beautiful Puerto Pollensa. We will be back next year for sure!
