PADDLE BOARD TOURS IN PUERTO POLLENSA
Our paddle board tours tours have become famous here in Puerto Pollensa. Enjoy the beauty of the bay, from a paddle board perspective!
This year we are offering our popular Sunrise Tour and our Fortaleza Tour once again.
The Sunrise tour - gives you the opportunity to watch the sun rising above the horizon, from the open waters of Pollenca Bay. It is not suitable for total beginners, so if this is something that you wish to do and have no prior experience, we would advise that you familiarise yourself with paddle boarding, prior to your holiday. Alternatively, you can participate in one of our taster sessions to learn the basics and to build your confidence!
Approximate duration - 2.5 hours
Approximate distance - 8-9 km
Approximate start time -5.30am and 6.30 (due to changing sunrise times)
Cost - €70.00 euros per person
Group/family booking (four or more people) - €60.00 euros per person
Our “Early Riser” tour - sets sail at the slightly more sedate time of 7.00 am! We take a gentle paddle out past the boats and across to the lighthouse and the crystal clear waters of Chicken Bay. Here you will have the opportunity to get up close and personal with the beautiful "La Fortaleza" - Spains most expensive residence.
It has been featured many times in the media, including several TV dramas - The Night Manager, White Lines and more recently “The Lioness” with Nicole Kidman. It is also the "must have" wedding venue, hosting Gareth Bale, Rafa Nadal and in 2023, the wedding of Joey King, whose guests included Taylor Swift! You can see some fab pictures in this Vogue article!
It is not suitable for total beginners, however if you have a little experience, it’s the perfect opportunity to improve your skills and gain confidence on the water!

Frequenting asked questions
What should I wear?
As with any water sport, it is important to wear the appropriate clothing. We advise that you wear surf/sports wear (shorts and t-shirt, over swimwear. Rash vests are a good option because they block the sun, they dry quickly and they don't get heavy when wet.
Cotton material is not advisable, because it soaks up the water instead of resisting moisture. It also becomes heavy and uncomfortable.
We also advise that you choose a sunhat over sunglasses. We have seen hundreds of pairs lost to the sea! Additionally - it presents an injury risk, should you fall and catch your face.
What happens if the weather is unsuitable?
Due to our location, weather can be very changeable. We endeavour to provide accurate information and base this on a number of different weather apps. However, we may need to change or move your booking to another day. We will attempt to give advance notice, but we reserve the right to change or cancel the booking even on the day, for your own safety and enjoyment.
Reasons we would do this include strong winds, thunderstorms in the general area and intense heat / generated thermals. We do not do our tours if wind speeds are in excess of 8 mph / 12 kph. This is due to the fact we paddle in to open water, where we do not have the protection of the shore line.
Other useful information:
Your bags and personal belongings can be kept securely in our shop - also known as "The SUP Cave!" We like to start the lessons promptly, so ask that you arrive five minutes prior to the booking! If applying suntan creams, please can you carry this out before you arrive, as they can damage the paddle boards and make the paddles very greasy.
We will take plenty of photo’s and send these to you afterwards, so that you can remember your experience with us!
